Message from Dan: Season of Goodbyes and Hellos
As we prepare for our 2017 Desert Southwest Annual Conference, we enter that familiar road of goodbye and hello for our clergy servants. During the session of conference, appointments will be set and transitions will happen. In our United Methodist custom, this can seem smooth and common, and of usual practice. However, the process is anything but easy. There are deep emotions and experiences along this road. There is the sense of mission accomplished and unfinished loose-ends. There are the feelings of grief and the anticipation of new possibilities.
