Disaster Relief Committee Update – South District
The call for Hurricane Harvey Disaster Relief received from effected conferences in Texas at the end of August were answered by the Desert Southwest Conference in many ways.

We have much to be thankful for this fall……..
Desert Southwest Conference sent 6 teams to the Victoria-Refugio-Rockport area of Texas where the worst of the hurricane damage occurred: 40 ERTs plus 8 chainsaw guys who deployed twice for 3 weeks each. Jo Robinson (ERT) worked 2 weeks on an ERT team, then stayed 2 ½...We are a Connectional Church
My heart is breaking.
And heavy.
And convicted.
Looking at the photos and video from the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey creates such a space for me.

Early Response Team Training
