The focus of our 2018 Leadership Conference, Saturday, February 3, 2018, is “Neighbor to Neighbor”. We are continuing to expand ways in which we are connecting as neighbors as we answer the question asked of Jesus, “Who is my neighbor?”, Luke 10:29. As we connect neighbor to neighbor, we practice our calling to love like Jesus, act for Justice, and offer hope to our world today. I am impressed with our many workshop offerings. I would like to attend every workshop and glean the insights from each leader….

Rev. Rosemary Anderson has developed a PowerPoint presentation on “A Current Look at Our Neighbors Without Homes” from statistics received out of the Morrison Institute Survey of homeless individuals in AZ, from 2012, and Vi-Spdat from Maricopa County for single, homeless adults compiled in 2015.

Churches that participated in last August’s “How to Reach New People” workshop with Jim Griffith are encouraged to invite as many people as possible to increase their teams in the ‘How to reach new people tune up’ coming up in February, as the follow-up event is open to new participants from those churches, not just the people who attended the first workshop.
