An Introduction to the Neighboring Movement

March 16 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am MST

Event Navigation

Clergy Only Session –

What would it look like for our churches to practice neighboring with our actual, literal neighbors? In a time where it seems like everything is falling apart, Jesus tells us that the most important things we can do are to love God and love our neighbors. The Good Neighbor Experiment (neighboringmovement.org) takes us back to basics on how to be a good neighbor, with the people where we live and as a church. Equipped with principles of relationship, abundance and joy, church members have the chance to see the world around them with new eyes and new energy to live out a faith of love and build vibrant communities. Join us for an introduction to The Good Neighbor Experiment principles and some introductory practices to see how you and your church may find the gifts of the community and rediscover the energy and joy of neighboring. Amy Notbohm, a member of Dayspring UMC and Curator of Community Connections as Dayspring expands its ministry into a second campus, is our guide in this journey.
