Courses Offered
Life Together in the United Methodist Connection (United Methodist Polity) – This course gives participants an overview of the structure and organization of The United Methodist Church. Participants text: Polity, Practice, and the Mission of The United Methodist Church by Thomas E. Frank

The course is scheduled for Friday’s, February 11 and 18, 2022, 9:30 AM-2:30 PM with a short break for lunch which Willowbrook will provide. The class will finish with Holy Communion and Graduation. (you will need to commit to both sessions) (all times are Arizona time)

Participants are responsible for purchasing and reading the text in advance of the course. Participant textbooks are available from Cokesbury.com. You might also find Kindle and printed versions from Amazon.com. If you have any questions contact Betty Stewart, .

Kennedy, Rev. Gary

Willowbrook UMC, Sun City, AZ

Rev. Gary Kennedy is currently the Senior Pastor at Willowbrook United Methodist Church in Sun City Arizona. He formerly served at the West District Superintendent for eight years with the last two as Dean of the Cabinet. As a District Superintendent, Gary taught several Lay Servant Ministry classes.

Gary formerly served at First UMC, Gilbert, as the Director of The Wesley Foundation at Arizona State University and as an associate at Tempe First UMC. He also served at Community UMC, Avondale and as an associate at Paradise Valley UMC.
