Health & Caring

Following Wesley’s commitment to the health of body, mind, and spirit, the Health and Caring Committee of the Desert Southwest Conference has four priorities to promote: healthy eating, active living, mental health, and tobacco-free and drug-free free living for the clergy and laity of the Conference.

Rev. Louie Lyon is developing a resource for churches to start a small group on grief. Resources will include a sample format, recommended handouts, where to get direct access to more, and a recording of an actual session led by Louie. Churches that aren’t ready to start a new group but want/need a place to go are welcome to join Louie’s group.
